Maker Faire is a fun filled day exploring all the cool projects that often stay hidden away in basements, garages, barns and makerspaces. This event teases out all that creativity and showcases the passion of the people who build these marvellous things. Expect to leave inspired and amazed.
It’s not unusual to see robots, drones, and 3D printers right alongside blacksmithing, weaving, Lego sculptures, and kinetic art.
So, what does Maker Faire look like?
Maker Faire is difficult to explain as it’s such a unique experience, but we have put together a short video to give a general understanding.
Is there an age limit to enter the event?
Maker Faire is a family friendly show and is suitable for all ages and has something of interest for any age. Parent’s discretion advised when children are participating in hands on activities, and interactive exhibits.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There is free onsite parking.
Can I volunteer with Maker Faire?
Volunteers are always welcome, and you can expect to be treated really well and leave feeling appreciated while having a fun time. Click here for more information.
What can I or can I not bring to the event?
You are welcome to bring cameras, costumes, and a sense of wonder. Enter this show with child like curiosity and you will leave changed. We ask however that you do not bring pets.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
You may give your ticket or pass to someone else so long as it’s before you first use it. After first use it is no longer transferable. If a ticket or pass specifically says it is non-transferable then it is non-transferable, even before it’s first use.
